Vladimir Illyich Ulyanov, better known as Vladimir Lenin, was the first leader of the Soviet Union. He led the Bolsheviks through the Russian Civil War and was the man who enacted policies like War Communism and The New Economic Policy.
Lev Davidovich Trotsky, better known as Leon Trotsky, was the People Commissar for Military and Naval affairs and for foreign affairs. He was ruthless during the civil war and over saw the Red Army during the Civil War. He would force his men into battle even if it was certain death and kill them if they refused.
Aleksandra Kollontai was the People's Commissar for Social Welfare.
