Some cool, old churches
Spinalonga Island - This was an old leper colony and all the buildings were built and lived in by people with leprosy. They were sent there to live the rest of their lives and could never see their family or anyone who was healthy. Many off the old walls in the first few pictures are built by the Venetians or the Ottomans. The buildings in the last pictures were built by the lepers. It has quite an interesting history. It was last used as a leper colony in 1957.
